Foreman

Syrus Construction is a mid-sized, full-service construction company in business for more than two decades.
We have multiple exciting projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million, including a high-end single family residence of 37,000 square feet in Alexandria, VA to 90,00 square feet mixed-use development project in Annandale, VA.

We are looking for a reliable Construction Foreman to oversee all field operations including supervising and scheduling of sub-contractors, resolving day-to-day issues on the job site and ensuring work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications and all safety and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Managing day to day construction related activities on job sites

Supervision of field work force to assure all work is in alignment with project plans and schedule.

Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with company policy, state and local regulations and safety requirements.

Controlling field costs and monitoring field productivity

Knowing scheduled delivery dates for all material and equipment

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
​
​

Must have at least 3 years field construction management experience
-
Demonstrated experience managing labor and holding sub-contractors responsible for their work
-
Knowledge of applicable regulations (OSHA) etc.

Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbally and in writing
